Our Philosophy
The Partnership works to build and strengthen the support system among afterschool providers. We offer training and networking that programs need for on-going program improvement in order for each to reach the quality standards established by the National Afterschool Association.

These standards reflect our commitment to enriching the experiences of each individual child. Quality afterschool programs should provide children with a safe, healthy environment where they can explore new activities and ideas, enhance their student performance, and build supportive relationships with adults and peers.

Through the afterschool programs that we assist and the citywide advocacy and planning we direct and participate in, we strive to instill in children and youth the confidence, self-respect, and skills that will serve them in school and in life.
